Ogham of the Northeast

This is a long-term project I'm working on, with the intent of updating the ogham "tree alphabet" (as it is sometimes called) to focus on trees native and prolific in the Northeastern United States and Eastern Canada. The goal is to eventually produce an art book that utilizes letterpress and risograph. But it's a project that I'm intentionally working on slowly over time, with a lot of research and writing to do before I even get into the artistic parts in earnest. The purpose of this blog is to keep a record of that progress and act as a home base to compile the work I've done so far.
